Founder and Owner
Christy Farrar is the Founder and Owner of Farrar Consulting, bringing more than 30 years of experience in the healthcare industry. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Health Professions with a concentration in Health Care Administration from Texas State University.
Christy began her career in home health, where she recruited, trained, and supervised a team of more than 200 professionals serving patients throughout Central Texas. This early leadership experience laid the foundation for her deep understanding of healthcare operations, compliance, and patient-centered service delivery.
In 2010, Christy transitioned into healthcare consulting, where she has since built and optimized managed care networks for insurance plans nationwide. Recognizing the unique challenges faced by private practice owners, she founded Farrar Consulting in April 2014. Since then, she has helped medical practices across the country strengthen their managed care positioning, negotiate more favorable payer contracts, and enhance operational performance.
Christy specializes in managed care strategy and Revenue Cycle Management, partnering with practices to improve reimbursement, streamline billing and collections processes, reduce administrative burdens, and increase overall profitability. Her strategic guidance enables providers to focus more fully on delivering exceptional patient care while maintaining a strong financial foundation.
Christy resides in Richmond, Texas, with her husband, Scott, and is the proud mom of Will, Allison, and Mack. Outside of her professional work, she enjoys spending time at the beach, entertaining, reading, gardening, and cheering on college football.

David holds a Master of Business Administration with a concentration in Health Services and brings more than 30 years of experience in the healthcare industry. Throughout his career, he has facilitated multiple NCQA-approved certifications and has extensive expertise in managed care contracting, including structuring and negotiating physician agreements with a wide range of health plans.
David also has direct, firsthand experience with Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs), having collaborated with them from both medical practice and organizational perspectives. His extensive knowledge of the Texas Medical Center, combined with a comprehensive understanding of provider networks nationwide, gives him unique insight into the diverse business models used by medical practices and how each is most effectively structured within a managed care environment.
Originally from New Orleans, David now resides in Houston with his husband, Oliver. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling, entertaining, gardening, and spending time with his dog.

As Director of Consulting, Savannah serves as the team lead for the consulting division, overseeing strategy, guiding project execution, and ensuring exceptional client outcomes across all markets. In addition to her client-facing responsibilities, she mentors and develops consulting team members, facilitates new employee training, and helps maintain consistent, high-quality service delivery nationwide.

Over 20 of those years have been devoted to medical billing and coding, where she has developed deep expertise across multiple specialties, including Audiology, Internal Medicine, Pulmonology, Gastroenterology, Surgery, Pharmacy, and Laboratory services. She also has extensive experience managing accident‑related injury claims.
Throughout her career, Dawn has served in a variety of key roles, including Aging Accounts Specialist, HIPAA Officer, Certified Patient Account Representative (CPAR), and Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT). She is highly skilled in billing consulting and is well‑versed in commercial, Medicaid, and Medicare plans nationwide.
Dawn resides in Columbia, Tennessee, and enjoys spending her free time outdoors. She takes great pride in maintaining her garden and cultivating her flower beds, finding both to be relaxing and fulfilling in her free time.
