Christy Farrar
Owner
Christy is the owner of Farrar Consulting and has been in the healthcare industry for over 25 years. She received her Bachelor of Science in Health Professions with a major in Health Care Administration from Texas State University. She began her career working in home health, where she hired and supervised a team of over 200 home health attendants throughout Central Texas, among other duties.
Christy began her consulting career in 2010 and has successfully built multiple managed care networks for insurance plans across the nation. With a passion for assisting private practice owners, she began Farrar Consulting in April of 2014 and has successfully improved the managed care profile and financial bottom line of many medical practices nationwide, while easing their administrative burden and allowing them to focus on patient care.
Christy lives in Richmond, Texas, with her husband Scott, and is the proud mom of Will, Allison and Mack. She enjoys going to the beach, entertaining, gardening and watching college football.

David Moga

David is a graduate from Keller Graduate School of Management, where he obtained a Master’s in Business Administration with a concentration in Health Services.
With over 25 years of experience in the healthcare industry, David has close to 15 years of credentialing experience. He has facilitated multiple NCQA certifications, all of which were approved. Additionally, he worked in managed care contracting, during which he structured and negotiated physician agreements with multiple health plans. He also has direct experience in Accountable Care Organizations and how they are managed from both a practice and an organizational perspective.
David’s knowledge of the Texas Medical Center combined with his knowledge of the greater Houston area physician networks gives him great insight into the variety of business models a medical practice can have, and how each type is best administered from a managed care standpoint.
Originally from New Orleans, David now lives in Houston with his husband, Oliver. He enjoys traveling, entertaining, gardening and his dogs.

Colleen Mahoney has devoted the past 25 years of her career to the medical field. Liz resides on Long Island, New York, with her husband, two children and dog. She enjoys the outdoors, traveling, peloton and relaxing with family.

She has held the positions of Aging Accounts Specialist, HIPAA officer, Certified Patients Account Representative (CPAR), and Certified Pharmacy Tech (CPhT). She is well versed in Credentialing as well as Commercial, Medicaid and Medicare plans nationwide.

Melanie has worked with many large organizations in various roles including Baylor College of Medicine and National Veterinary Associates but has also had the pleasure of serving numerous private practices in multiple specialties such as Cardiology, Otolaryngology, Ophthalmology, and Audiology. Melanie has worked with top industry leadership to complete acquisitions, develop internal systems to increase net revenue streams, and engage strategic partners to provide patients with an unprecedented healthcare experience.
Since moving to the California wine country, Melanie enjoys sampling the ever-changing culinary scene in Sonoma County, spending quality time with her husband and hiking with her two dogs, Nola and Napa. A Texan at heart, Melanie frequently travels back to Texas to visit her family and friends.
